 The Mediterranean
Sea represents a basin a lot fascinating as far as
risk of environmental disaster; in fact to forehead of one limited
extension (only 0,8% of waters of all the globe) on it 15% of the
commercial traffics and 30% of hydrocarbons of the planet journey.
 The
limited water reciprocation that happens thanks to the currents of
the strait of Gibilterra, does not seem in a position to eliminate the
enormous amount of polluting agents that they come overturned in this
sea, tasks that annually it is forced to receive crude oil (2.000.000
t), minerals (120.000.000 t), detergents (60.000 t), mercury (100.000
t).
