New species of whale

(VERNON - California) - After ten years of studies on the DNA of some whale, living in the california waters, scientist declared the discovery of a new species of beached-whale (the lenght 4 meters, the habitat deep water). They are similar but genetically different from their South-Pacific cousins. A report will be published in the July edition of the Journal Marine Mammal Science. This news confirm that for the present the Cetacean world has been discovered only in a little part.
